Functional Fabric Fair

We took a quick weekend trip to Portland to visit the coolest little fabric fair. This small-but-mighty fair did not disappoint.

I got a masterclass in materials for outdoor gear. Super grateful to Tae, Todd, and Andrew (the incredible team leading product design for Moon Scuba) for showing me the ropes…and zippers and buckles and cord locks and carabiners and…all the trimmings.

It’s humbling to step into a new industry, but everyone made me feel welcome! There’s such a strong team forming around this brand, and it’s thrilling to stretch my creative muscle and operate in an entirely new playing field.

I can’t not emphasize this enough: I had so much fun. ✿
